We were absolutely delighted last Thursday to welcome the composer Matthew Coleridge to our rehearsal to take us through his Requiem, which we will be performing on Saturday 18th April 7pm at St Martin's Church, Salisbury.

Matthew said, "Thank you to everybody at Salisbury Community Choir for a wonderful evening rehearsing with you. It was a joy to hear my music sung with such feeling and passion, and you brought so much colour and drama to the music. I wish you the very best for what I'm sure will be an unmissable performance in April."

And our Musical Director Brian Moles added:
"I'm extremely grateful for Matt Coleridge giving of his time to come and lead a workshop for the choir, giving valuable pointers and illuminating the creativity behind his music. I was very impressed with the way Salisbury Community Choir responded and brought the piece alive - and I learnt even more about a work I thought I was familiar with! Very much looking forward to our performance in April and for the choir to showcase their hard work on this and other pieces. Thank you one and all."
